This privately-run sailing school is based on a unspoiled, small island 10 minutes off the south coast of Ireland. There are a cluster of neighbouring islands (inhabited and non-inhabited), making the water a safe and protected place to sail.

The sailing school has Irish Sailing Approved training centre status with fully qualified instructors.  24 people live on the island all year round and approximately 150 during the summer. The environment is friendly and secure; there are no shops or hotels on the island. The children will have the opportunity to sail to nearby islands during their stay, some of which have shops and cafés. The majority of boats used are Topaz dinghies.

School Britannia is working closely with the sailing school for summer 2016 in order to provide the opportunity for a limited number of international children to participate in the residential camp alongside English-speaking children. There are 3-4 places for children of the same nationality on two fortnightly courses between 12th June and 8th July.

The owners have many years of experience, having run the sailing school since 2006. They have created an attractive home for residents: the location is exceptional, the house is modernised, comfortable and homely, with en-suite bedrooms (for 4-8 children). All meals are home-cooked food: delicious and plentiful.

As the camp is based in Ireland, prices are in euros. The price for 2 weeks is 1,750€, all inclusive.
